Friendly fixture DBE vs Birmingham IBC, February 5th 2017
Yet another very good day for all concerned. Everyone arrived safely despite the poor weather. We received a warm welcome from the City of Birmingham IBC club members with the warmth extending to the surroundings. Everyone enjoyed the game, hosts and visitors alike.
The new Para-handy wheelchair was on display and 2 were sold.
My thanks must go to the volunteers, with a special thank you to Janet and Diane who worked especially hard all day, making sure our member’s needs were catered for. Also, thanks to Marj for her help on the day and to Douggie for his help with one of our members trying out the new wheelchair.
Happy to report that we are invited back for another fixture in the future.
