DBE National Pairs and Singles Finals – 2017
Disability Bowls England National Pairs and Singles Finals took place on 15th & 16th July 2017 at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa, home of the Bowls England National Championships.
National Pairs

National Singles
Winner:- Mike Robertson

Players from across the country met up to contest the outdoor Pairs competition which is increasing in popularity and with DBE ranking points on offer, included many of the top bowlers. Winners Kieran Rollings & Paul Brown beat fellow Internationals Bob Love & Gary Swift in a high-quality final.
This year saw the introduction of Regional Play Offs in the Singles event which resulted in the top 2 players from each region progressing to the finals. Matches were keenly fought and the large crowd of spectators enjoyed watching a high standard of play.
It was a good showcase for Disability Bowls with many players from the “Elite Squad” making it through to the latter stages in both events.
