A Disability Bowls England squad travelled to the excellent Didcot Bowls Club on Sunday 30th July and enjoyed a warm sunny afternoon of lawn bowls.
Due to late withdrawals due to illness a couple of stand-ins joined the four rinks of eight bowlers competing for the honours of the day. Whilst competition was very strong DBE ran out winners of all four rinks and an overall win 100 shots to 54.
Everyone enjoyed the Didcot Bowls Clubs generous hospitality, sumptuous food and jovial company. DBE manager Ray Smith thanked everyone for playing and Didcot for being superb hosts.
