It’s always a great feeling when your work is appreciated to see a plan come together, after the past 12 months travelling around England with our Taster and Disability awareness days ends of a massive high with our final event of 10 at York & District IBC & New Earswick IBC with our biggest turnout of over 50 DBE members over the 2 day event, showcasing our skills on and off the green was totally amazing and just shows how far disability bowls has come since the return after the pandemic. Following a request by the DBE Charity Trust Board a working group was set up to review all matters related to the DBE HP Squads and make recommendations to ensure transparency, good practice and produce squads fit for purpose. The group reviewed all procedures, and the findings are detailed below.

The Trustees of Disability Bowls England like to thank the High Performance working group
for a full review of our HP system and fully support all the recommendations made and will
update our procedures before 31 Dec 2022.
